Columbia offers 4-year Bachelor of Arts degrees, 2-year Diplomas, and 1-year Certificates. The BA and Diploma majors are: Biblical Studies - Focuses on understanding the scriptures, developing sermons, and leading a congregation. Caregiving and Counselling - Focuses on counselling, psychology and people helping skills. Church Ministries - Focuses on understanding the scriptures and leading a church in an associate role (such as adult/children etc ministry). Early Childhood Education - Focuses on skills to become a Pre-school or Daycare teacher or manager. Missions - Focuses on cross-cultural issues and evangelism. Outdoor Leadership - Focuses on leading people in the field of outdoor adventure (adventure tourism, camp ministry, etc) Worship Arts - Focuses on developing wholistic worship leaders in the arts (music, drama, art, sound, lighting, etc). Youth Work - Focuses on youth issues, psychology of youth, and ultimately in developing Youth Pastors. The Certificate programs are: ICert (general Christian studies) Quest (adventure discipleship program) ESL (english as a second language college preparation program) We also welcome casual and audit students.
