The Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing maintains a fully equipped nursing practice laboratory and learning resource center with an extensive software collection. The science laboratory features a wide variety of the latest anatomical models. The students’ information needs are met by the Phillips Health Science Library, which contains over 15,000 books, 650 journals and audiovisual materials. A modem connects the school with the library’s research capabilities. The school is affiliated with Pace University, which offers the liberal arts component of the curriculum; students can register for Pace upper-division nursing courses while enrolled in the School of Nursing, and can utilize Pace’s library and multimedia center. In addition, sixty credits of coursework at the school will be applied toward the Bachelor of Science degree at Pace.
